What is POVERTY AFFIDAVIT?

An affidavit made and filed by one of the parties to a suit, that he is not able to furnish security for the final costs. The use of the term is confined to a few states. Cole v. Iloeburg, 36 Kan. 263, 13 Pac. 275.
